Spot gold fluctuated within a narrow range and is currently around $1,974.42 per ounce. Although the overnight US PMI data was stronger than market expectations and gold prices were once under pressure, it was still supported by bargain hunting and safe-haven buying. Judging from the current form, gold prices are still biased upward after testing support levels.
