I would say my journey of trading FX wasn't very tough. I started off young so therefore the capital wasnt too huge but I lost 80% of what I deposited. The reason of the loss was due to trading without proper risk management and greed. I started investing time into learning and got myself to who I am today.

I’ve seen $5k-$250k from the interviews and posts I’ve come across but the average seems to be in the $40-$70k range and 3-4 year mark is when it starts clicking.
So far I’ve lost about $7k maybe a little more but I am just in the beginning of my journey and I’m not process driven or organized enough yet. I have a long way to go regarding psychology and risk management

It is important to note that trading is not a guranteed path to profits, and not all traders become consistantly profitable. Success often requires a combination of education, discipline, risk management, and the ability adapt to market conditions

I don’t count this, but when I was swing trading without knowing what I was doing like an idiot I lost about $10k. That’s what caused me to get serious. Being serious about daytrading I’ve lost about $5k. I’m hoping I’m past that period and finding consistency but only time will tell

I lost 6k in 3 months. Now consistently get a profit. Trick is, 1. Futures, 2. Don’t keep hopping in and out of a penny stock, 3. Trade large to medium cap, penny stocks are how you become broke

I lost maybe 800 dollars total trading micros before I started figuring things out.
Granted I'm frown a 3rd world country and didn't have 6 figures to gamble away in the first place. Only god knows what would have happened if I did.

Well it depends, most here are lying anyways. You will probably lose it all before you learn if you start out with a figure in mind. If you educate yourself and demo trade first you will probably lose a LOT less!
