How do you maintain your concentration while trading?

Limit the amount of time you trade to a consistent schedule. For example, I only trade between 9:30-12. If my setup occurs at 1, I’m not going to take it, as I won’t be in front of the chart anymore. Trading is a performative thing, you can’t spend all day doing it or it’ll wear you down. Just pick the best 2-3 hours of the day for you and only trade during that time, skip the rest. Trading for more than 3 hours can start to have a negative impact on your performance anyway, which you don’t want. Why trade for longer if it’s only going to reduce how much money you make?? I also listen to music and browse and/or watch something while waiting. But I don’t have to wait long, as my trading schedule is only 2.5 hours.

a proper trading plan takes care of all that , a plan should have the max number of trades running simultaneously , max risk etc so as soon as everything checks out according to your plan , you execute without fear

5am wakeup 5:15am to 5:30am - Meditation 5:30am - Coffee 5:30am to 5:45am - Journaling/daily goal setting 5:45am to 6:00am - Check news/ForexFactory 6:00am - Start charting and start the trading day Work until 10am ish 1:00pm - Gym Lunch after and enjoy the day Studying/chart setup gets done sometimes at night. I don't really trade Asia anymore. Just finished my chart setup and replying to reddit, should probably get to sleep lol

This is very true, as to become a successful trader, you need to have a very strong mindset, discipline and as well as strong psychology. This is why I enjoy being a trader as this traits are the good traits that we need in our life.

Normally trader have stress because of his expectation usually most of the beginners they expect to win all the time that's why they don't control their risk but in reality forex market based on probability so we could win sometimes and lose some times

Every trader needs to ask themselves, why am I trading?

I believe sometimes people don’t have a clear objective on why they are trading. There are even some traders who have a false reality and ultimately end up with blown accounts. Once you figure out why you are trading, things become a bit better mentally. I don’t mean why you got into trading or what the long goal is. I mean specifically why are you trading right now, what are you trying to accomplish now. Setting clear expectations and goals is key to controlling your emotions. I see a lot of people trading with money they can’t afford to lose or even expecting a 5x, 10x return monthly. I took a step back after a few blown accounts and focused on learning to trade/understand the market. When I took trades I was no longer interested in if it won or loss, I cared about the reasoning behind why I placed the trade. I started to study that and overtime became a better trader. If you try to learn and profit at the same time, it will be difficult for you. It will specifically be difficult on your emotions. Focus on the learning/developing a trading plan and the rest will fall into place.
