Comprehensive Step-by-Step Manual Guide on Adding and Running The RFX Revolution Trading Bot on MT4/MT5 Platforms
Part 1: Adding and Running a Bot on MetaTrader 4 (MT4)
Step 1: Locate the Bot File
Ensure you have the bot file in the .mq4 format. If it’s zipped, extract the file to access it.
Step 2: Open MT4 Platform
1. Launch the MetaTrader 4 platform.
2. Log in to your demo or live trading account.
Step 3: Access the Data Folder
1. On the MT4 toolbar, go to File > Open Data Folder.

Step 4: Add the Bot File

2. Paste it into the Experts folder.
Step 5: Compile the Bot
1. Close the Data Folder window.
2. Return to MT4 and press F4 to open the MetaEditor.
3. In the MetaEditor, find your bot under the Experts section.
4. Open the bot file and click the Compile button (or press F7).
o If there are no errors, the compilation will succeed.
Step 6: Attach the Bot to a Chart
1. Go back to the MT4 platform.
2. In the Navigator panel (press Ctrl + N to open it), expand the Expert Advisors section.
3. Locate your bot and drag it onto a chart of your choice (e.g., EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, USDCAD, USDCHF).
Step 7: Configure Bot Settings
1. A dialog box will appear. Go to the Inputs tab to adjust the bot’s parameters:
o Lot size
o Stop loss
o Take profit, etc. (Not recommended due to devs risk management policy)
2. Check the Common tab and ensure:
o "Allow live trading" is enabled.
o "Allow DLL imports" is enabled (if required by the bot).
Step 8: Enable Automated Trading
1. Ensure the AutoTrading button on the MT4 toolbar is green (enabled).
2. The bot will now start monitoring the market and executing trades based on its logic.
Step 9: Monitor Performance
1. Check the Experts and Journal tabs (press Ctrl + T) for bot activity and logs.
2. Monitor trades on the chart and in the Trade tab.
Part 2: Adding and Running a Bot on MetaTrader 5 (MT5)
Step 1: Locate the Bot File
